I. Have a minimum of ten years of relevant work experience.
II. Attend and complete the ChFE Institutesubsequently passing a comprehensive exam.
III. Adhere to the Financial Engineering Code of Ethics and Standards.
IV. Complete 20 hours of Continuing Education within the disciplines of financial engineering every two years.
V. Be duly registered and in good standing with any applicable SRO*.
VI. Maintain at least one of the following professional designations: *CLU®, *ChFC®, CFA, CFP®, RFC, CIC, CPA, PFS, JD, AEP, CSA, CEP.
Notwithstanding the eligibility requirements set forth above, The Financial Engineering Institute reserves the right to make an exception to these requirements, based on reasonable and sufficient cause.
