Kyle C. Gregory, ChCCA — President of Give Back Nation, a non-profit organization
Kyle and several other entrepreneurial philanthropists developed Give Back Nation as a national community foundation serving hundreds of non-profits on a concierge services basis as well as thousands of giving Americans and their causes. Kyle Gregory has held management positions with UPS, Lowes and The Bank of New York Mellon. Using his vast array of management experience and dedication to “giving back”, Kyle helps great causes expand their fight while creating a “circle of winning” within communities across the nation. Kyle received his bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of Central Florida. He is a member of The Charitable Capital Institute.
Ronald Gilbert — President and Co-Founder of ESOP Services
With over thirty years of experience, Ron heads up an international consulting firm specializing in all aspects of Employee Stock Ownership Plan (“ESOP”) applications and ESOP privatization for private and public companies and government-owned entities. He currently serves on The ESOP Association’s Board of Governors and its Legislative and Regulatory Advisory Committee. He is a former member of the board of directors of the National Center for Employee Ownership.
Diane J. Omdahl, RN, MS — CEO and Founder of I-65 Incorporated
For more than 35 years, Diane has kept tabs on the ever-changing landscape of Medicare regulations. She grew her first company into the leading provider of Medicare-related training, guidance and education for the nation's home healthcare agencies. Diane has delivered more than 500 Medicare-related audio conferences and seminars. In 2012, Diane founded 65 Incorporated to provide the nation's seniors, through their financial advisors and employers, with unbiased, individualized Medicare enrollment guidance. Through her work, Diane has been featured in publications such as Forbes, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal Market Watch, CBS MoneyWatch, Kiplinger, American Journal of Nursing, and many more.
Eric Knauss, CFA — Chief Executive Officer of Proteus, LLC
Eric heads up Proteus, an integrated technology alternative asset solutions platform built to eliminate the inefficiencies of private investments for investors, advisors and family offices. Beginning his extensive career with Merrill Lynch over 32 years ago, Eric spent more than 11 years at T. Rowe Price where he established and managed the firm’s Private Client Group and was Chairman of the firm’s After-Tax Asset Allocation Committee. Eric then worked for the multi-family office, Spruce Private Investors and moved on to GenSpring Family Offices as a lead investment professional. Eric then developed a holistic, open-architecture wealth advisory platform for Lazard Wealth Management as its Director of Client Relationship Management Group and was Managing Partner of both Portfolio Management and Wealth Advisory at Deltec Wealth Management.
Brent Burns, MBA — President and Founder of Asset Dedication
Brent brings more than a decade of financial and investment experience to his work in applying academic research to the development of practical and innovative portfolio strategies. Brent’s deep background in empirical finance helped form the basis for all of Asset Dedication’s modeling and analysis. His work with Asset Dedication began at the University of San Francisco, where he partnered with co-Founder Stephen Huxley as a McLaren Research Fellow to study portfolio performance and the impact of withdrawal rates, inflation, and market conditions. In addition to his role at Asset Dedication, Brent periodically teaches the Personal Finance courses in the MBA and undergraduate programs at the University of San Francisco School of Management. Brent holds an MBA with honors from the University of San Francisco and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley. Brent is also a former world-class pole vaulter and was a member of the U.S. National Track and Field Team.
Alan Gross — President of GSM Marketing
Alan is GSM’s founding partner and president. He leads our strategic consulting engagements and is the chief architect of our client programs. Alan’s strength is helping clients define their voice and communicate the qualities of their brand. Clients value his industry expertise, analytical clarity and originality in bringing new ideas to market. Prior to starting GSM, Alan worked for 16 years with SunGard Data Systems, leading the training and marketing teams for Relius and Omni, the industry leading brands for retirement plan recordkeeping and administration. Alan began his career as a stockbroker, holding securities and options principal licenses. His education began with a BS/BA in Finance from the University of Florida. Most evenings you can find him playing one of his guitars and brainstorming ideas for acoustic.life, a website dedicated to supporting arts, artists and arts education.
Tom Makeever — Partner of GSM Marketing
Tom joined Alan as a partner with GSM Marketing in 2012. He leads business development, provides consulting expertise, while managing operations of the business. He excels at identifying client needs and designing and delivering customized solutions that drive customer success. Tom is an award-winning, 30-year veteran of the 401(k)/retirement plan market and led national and global sales teams for SunGard’s Relius and Omni solutions, helping define and grow these products to become the dominant solution suites nationally and globally. Tom holds a Bachelor’s degree in business management from Eastern Michigan University, where he graduated magna cum laude. Mark Sims — Vice President of Business Development at Captive Alternatives, LLC.
He has more than 25 years of experience in risk management and insurance consulting, and focuses on the use of Private Insurance Companies for insuring the catastrophic business risks and employee benefits programs of medical groups, business owners in many sectors, and other high net worth groups throughout the United States. Mark is a charismatic and popular professional speaker on the use of Private Insurance Companies for risk management, asset protection, wealthy preservation and exit strategies. He is a member of the Captive Insurance Companies Association and the Self Insurance Institute of America. Mark has extensive working experience with tax attorneys, estate planning firms and other trusted advisors to high net worth business owners and families.
Gregory E. Crawford, TEP, CFP — President of Alliance Trust Company of Nevada
Greg develops strategy, drives growth, and oversees operations. For two decades, Greg has designed and implemented asset management and asset protection plans for multi-generational families in the United States and abroad for some of the largest institutions in the world. This work involves comprehensive financial planning, portfolio design, business entity structure strategy, and sophisticated estate planning techniques. Greg is a regular speaker on the benefits and advantages of Nevada trust situs at law school conferences around the country. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Davis, and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota. Jeffrey Feld, CPA — Principal of Alliance Pension Consultants, LLC
Jeff and his partners guide the firm's growth through insightful understanding of client needs and how to attend to them. Jeff has served on the Employee Benefits Committee of the Illinois CPA Society for over ten years and is also an Associate Professional Member of the American Society of Pension Actuaries. He serves on the National Advisory Board of Charles Schwab as well. He frequently speaks at professional seminars and writes articles focusing on 401(k) issues, fee disclosure and other benefit plan topics. Jeff has conducted seminars for various chapters of the Illinois CPA Society, the American Society of Pension Actuaries and the Chicago Bar Association. Jeff attended Northern Illinois University and graduated with a B.S. degree in Accounting.
